Centenary Christian Preschool Covid Protocols

The staff at Centenary Christian Preschool are doing everything they can to keep everyone safe and healthy. We are doing health checks daily, sanitizing frequently throughout the day, hand washing, wearing face coverings and social distancing. We will notify you if anyone in your child’s class is diagnosed with COVID-19.
Here’s what we, as a school and staff, expect from our parents to ensure everyone’s health and safety:
If your child is sent home for any of the reasons above, we ask that you keep them home until they are symptom free for 48 hours. Some medical conditions may require a Doctor’s release to return to school. School closures or student absences are unable to receive Tuition Credits.
I know times are hard right now but this is for the health and safety of all children, staff and families at Centenary Christian Preschool. If we follow these guidelines hopefully we will not have to have classroom closures.

Here’s what we, as a school and staff, expect from our parents to ensure everyone’s health and safety:
- Honesty in regards to your child’s health and those in the household.
- Parents should notify our school if their child or anyone in the household has been exposed or diagnosed with COVID-19.
- If exposed, child needs to stay home and test on day 5 and quarantine for 10 days. If TEST IS POSITIVE: 10 DAYS QUARANTINE FROM POSITIVE TEST DATE. May return when symptom free. IF NEGATIVE: CHILD MAY RETURN AFTER 10 DAYS
- Children need to STAY AT HOME FOR 10 DAYS AND SHOW A NEGATIVE TEST RESULT BEFORE RETURNING.
- If your child or anyone in the household is having COVID-19 symptoms or any of the following symptoms please keep them home.
- Coughing
- Excessive runny nose
- Fever of 100.3 or higher
- Sore throat
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Unidentified rash
- Needing one-on-one care or inability to participate in normal activities
